Obituary for Joseph Eugene "Gene" Holt, Sr.
Joseph Eugene “Gene” Holt, Sr. – age 71 of New Tazewell, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
Gene is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth Holt; daughter, Karen Dunn; son, Eugene (Kathy) Holt, Jr.; sister, Marie Holt; brother, Bruce Holt; three granddaughters; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral to follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Rick Carter officiating. Interment to follow in Big Barren Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Karen Dunn, 105 Tall Oak Circle, Johnson City, TN 37601.
