Franklin Danny Hayes – age 75 of Maynardville, Tennessee passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born March 31, 1942 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was saved in 1956 at the age of 14 during a revival at Hines Creek Baptist Church and is a member of Community Baptist Church. Frank retired from Coca-Cola after 25 years of service and enjoyed working outside, sports, and his grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil V. and Elsie Berry Hayes; brother, Jackie Hayes; and sisters, Wilma Beason and Alberta Hayes. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorthy McGill Hayes; daughters, Karen (Larry) Williams, Regina (Aaron) Steiner and Rhonda Hayes; grandchildren raised and loved as his own children, Charity Helton and Tyler Munsey; also survived by grandchildren, Whitney (Stephen) Pommier, Tiffany (Tim) Graves, Jordan (Josh) Collins, Tucker and Madison Steiner; blessed with eleven great grandchildren, Austin, Tristin, Ashlin and Zelah Quibodeaux, Sydney, Laken, Destiney and Levi Graves, Ayden Munsey, Max Thomas and Eric Gomez, that he helped raise as his own child; sister, Mable (Elwood) Flatford; brother, Phillip (Carol) Hayes; and an abundance of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home, Saturday, March 17, 2018. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Jody Winstead and Phillip Hayes officiating. Aaron Steiner will provide the eulogy with music by Harold Cooke and Josh Collins. Serving as pallbearers will be Tucker Steiner, Tyler Munsey, Josh Collins, Larry Williams and Tim Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Gomez and Madison Steiner. Family and friends will meet at 2:15 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Trinity Funeral Home to travel in procession to Pleasant View Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. interment.
