Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to the Whitson family. Words can not express the pain and sadness of being separated from our loved ones by our enemy death. There is one who sees our pain and distress and is "close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalms 34:18). God has given us this promise for the future "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." As you reflect on memories of Jonathan left behind, may you find much comfort from these promises for they will not fail to come true (Titus 1:2). May the "God of All Comfort" be with you now and in the difficult days ahead. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
