Veatta Scates – age 45 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly November 29, 2017.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Scates; daughters, Ashley Coffey and Taylor Scates; son, Deaderick (Kayla) Brown; granddaughter, Anastasia Brown; mother, Diane (Raymond) Wilkerson; sister, Judy Scott; and brothers, Randall (Ann) Barnitz, Eugene (Kristi) Wilkerson and Jason (Angie) Wilkerson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Wade Brantley officiating.
