Luther Cline Faulkner, Sr. – age 80 of Corryton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2017. He was of the Baptist faith. Luther was a retired employee of Tom’s Foods. He enjoyed his family, fox hunting and farming.

Luther is preceded in death by his parents, Elus and Jennie Faulkner; son, Gary Faulkner, Sr.; grandson, Gary Faulkner, Jr.; two sisters; and seven brothers. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Faulkner; daughters, Jennie (Ernie) Rush and Robin Rife; sons, Luther Faulkner, Jr., and Sammy (Norma) Faulkner; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Doyle Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Rutledge Pike Baptist Church Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. interment service.
