Obituary for Lorne Tolliver

Lorne Tolliver – age 59 of Sharps Chapel, was born August 15, 1957. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 23, 2017 at home. Lorne was saved at a young age and was a member of Highland Missionary Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel. Lorne worked for the Union County Sheriff Department with people that he considered family. He had a heart of gold and loved helping others with no thought of getting anything in return. Lorne never met a stranger. When he loved, he loved with everything in him. Lorne loved election year and loved arguing about politics, especially when Billy Breeding was running for sheriff. He loved Billy like a brother. Lorne didn’t have any children of his own, but there were three special boys that he always referred to as “my boys”, those boys are Lorne’s nephews, Matt, Landon and Colby Seals. If you’ve ever had a conversation with Lorne, then you’ve heard about those boys. Just the same, if you’ve ever had a conversation with the boys, then you’ve heard about the world’s best uncle, Lorne.
