Walton “Lee” Jones – age 56 of Tazewell, Tennessee was called home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Lee was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University with a BA in History and was an employee of Bluegrass Dedicated Trucking Company. He was a faithful friend, an avid fisherman, and was passionate about literature.

Lee is preceded in death by his father, Walter Jones, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Shelly (Matthew) Laux; sons, Justin (Jaime) Jones, Joshua (Jenna) Jones and Jackson Jones; grandchildren, Collin, Alexander, and Bennett Laux, Joshua and Elleigh Jones, Wyatt, Atlas and Ezekiel Jones; mother, Patty Jones; sister, Luann (Greg) Thomas; and nephews, Will (Taylor) Thomas and Gus (Jessica) Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow with Reverend William Bingham officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Mountain View Cemetery and Memorial Gardens in Harrogate, Tennessee for a 3:00 p.m. interment service.
