Everett Albert Gideon – age 86 of Andersonville, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Laura Gideon; daughters, Cynthia and Laura J. Gideon; and the mother of his children, Sarah (Gideon) Edwards. Everett is survived by his wife, Mildred Beatrice Gideon; sons, Joe (Kay) Gideon, Mike Gideon, and Lynn Gideon; grandchildren, Darren and Cody Gideon, Dustin and Brandon Gideon and Anthony and Brittney Carver; sister, Neva Smith; brothers, Lowell and Verlin Gideon; and step-son, James McCarter.
