Helen McPhetridge Rutherford – age 91 of Andersonville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Helen was a member of Central Baptist Church in Knoxville. She enjoyed her home on Norris Lake, gardening, her flowers and UT football.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Creda “Lou” and Claude McPhetridge; sisters, Bonnie Silvey and Mary Lynch; and brother, Edward McPhetridge. She is survived by daughter, Carla (Bill) Cantrell; sons, Bob (Jeannie) Rutherford, Bill Rutherford, Gary (Nancy) Rutherford and Ricky Rutherford; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm., Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Associate Pastor Jeff Cockerham officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Skaggs Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
