Obituary for Levi Jackson Berry Sr.

Levi J. Berry, Sr. – age 82 of Andersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Levi was of the Baptist faith and a Korean War Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dena Berry; parents, Austin Huey and Mary Helen Berry; and sister, Doris Jean Sexton.

Levi is survived by sons, Danny (Sherry) Berry, Dennis Terry Berry, Levi (Rita) Berry, Jr. and Jody (Vanessa) Berry; sisters, Juanita Richardson, Judy Murray and Sheila Vanbebber; brothers, Robert, Willis, Roy and Jerry Berry; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jason Berry and Reverend Bobby Kitts officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. interment in New Loyston Memorial Gardens. Military honors to be conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will be meeting at Jody Berry’s residence, 204 Harmon Dr., Maynardville.
