Norris, Doris Hensley – age 71 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was a member of Milan Baptist Church and enjoyed life with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eula Hensley; and brother, David Hensley. Doris is survived by loving husband of 54 years, Carson Norris; daughters, Tracy (Terry) Maples and Rhonda (Jeff) Spencer; son, Terry (Lisa) Norris; grandchildren, Josh and Brandy Walker, Nicholas and Anna Maples, Jed, Sarah, Emma and Ben Norris, and Hunter, Levi and Reagan Spencer; great grandchildren, Noah and Megan Walker, and Carson and Luke Maples; brothers, Darrell and Christine Hensley, Doyle and Marilyn Hensley and W. C. Hensley; special friend, Loretta Sherrod; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers, Josh Walker, Jed Norris, Jeff Spencer, Terry Maples, Hunter Spencer and Noah Walker; honorary pallbearers, Levi Spencer and Ben Norris. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2015 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Nicholas Maples officiating.
