Thacker, Jackie James – age 55 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2013. He was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by parents Porter and Margaret Ann Thacker; sisters, Marlene Thacker Williams and Betty Thacker Cameron. Survived by sons, James (Brittany) Thacker and Jesse (Chelsey Richardson) Thacker; grandchildren, Hunter Shoffner Thacker and Maycee Thacker; brothers, Bill (Jean) Thacker and Robert Thacker. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Robert West and Reverend Richard Nicely officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Trinity Funeral Home.
